A healthy body leads to a healthy mind, right? Over the past few weeks, we’ve begun work with three local businesses/non-profits who are all committed to promoting healthy living in the Austin community.
Perfectly in line with Upbeat Marketing’s personal passion for health and wellness, we’re thrilled to focus on the following projects over the next few months:
1. ACTIVE Life: It’s Time Texas Campaign – ACTIVE Life is a local, non-profit whose mission is to make healthy the “norm” by generating a persistent demand for healthy living among all sectors of society. In 2012, ACTIVE Life launched a state-wide health campaign in beta form called “It’s Time Texas,” prompting individuals and groups across the state to outline a healthy action for themselves and/or their community. “It’s time to achieve balance – fitness, food and fun!” was my personal action. As a way to enhance this parent campaign, Upbeat Marketing was tasked with researching the feasability of an athletic TEAM component and then outlining this program from concept to completion. We are excited to stand behind this great cause and further support healthy communities in Texas (and beyond!). Learn more and make a pledge here http://itstimetexas.org/.
2. Forward Motion Personal Training – Forward Motion is a small personal training company based in Cedar Park, Texas at Twin Creeks Country Club. Over the next year, Forward Motion’s goals include expansion and reaching a new market of clients outside of the Twin Creeks Community. Following two lengthy strategy sessions, Upbeat Marketing provided a detailed marketing road map for these business owners to implement – outlining short term and long term opportunities according to their budget as well as best practices and industry standards. We are excited to help them implement aspects of the overall marketing plan and look forward to watching them grow their business! Learn more and get fit here http://www.forwardmotiontx.com
3. Texas Roundup 5k & Family Mile – Yeehaw! This unique 5K run course starts and finishes on the south-side of the State Capital and winds through scenic downtown and campus streets, but don’t be fooled – this race is more about spirit than speed. The 10th Annual Event is expected to bring over 2000 participants with the goal of getting Austinites of all ages and abilities “up and moving!” The run will conclude with a family-friendly celebration complete with activities for both children and adults. We’re in the process of outlining a high level marketing strategy for this community-oriented event, which will include creative campaign ideas for their website, social media, public relations, community partnerships and more. Upbeat Marketing’s core capabilities include marketing strategy, branding & design, search engine optimization, social media and public relations. If you are a health and/or fitness business looking for a partner marketing firm, we’d love to hear from you.
